EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES

We at Mildura Paddle Steamers believe that education about our local history, in particular, the river history, is a valuable asset for all to share in. We are committed to providing just that.

We are currently developing Units of Work around the Victorian Curriculum, that will go hand in hand with tours on board our vessels. In the meantime the following links will take you to pages that have high quality educational resources available to extend student learning.

Discover Murray has many amazing Educational Resources, including history and geography for the whole stretch of the Murray River. Many of the links are accredited by ACARA and relate to the Curriculum.

The Chaffey Trail provides local students with key historical themes, enhancing their learning through excursions to a range of sites, engaging students in learning outside the classroom. This Website provides various Units of Work from Prep to Grade 6.

Our Units of Work are coming soon!
Stay tuned!

In the meantime - Visit "Our Fleet" to learn about the history of our vessels.

The Murray Darling Basin Authority is responsible for planning the Basin's water resources, with all planning decisions made in the interest of the Basin as a whole. They have a plethora of valuable resources, apps and games available, as well as curriculum aligned lesson plans.
